The Corporate Affairs Commission ("the Commission") has in recent times declined significantly in service delivery. This decline is profoundly noticable in the Commission's personnel and work tools. The site remains manifestly glitchy to the extent that users have devised ingenious solutions to proceed with activities on same.

Their customer care service seems to have been sabotaged, so that users are unable to reach the commission. Every single time you put a call across to them, they either repeat a voice prompt for more than 30 mins or your selection to be attended to in a chosen language only leads to an unending repetition of the language options.

Staff at the commission appear to lack basic understanding of their job role. This is visible when ridiculous reasons are proffered as grounds upon which certain actions are taken!

Generally, the commission seems to have lost direction, and this is a passionate appeal to the Nigerian Bar Association ("NBA") to prevail on the Commission with a view redirecting it to its original plan of premium service delivery. The NBA is a major stakeholder in this regard, in view of the fact that a large percentage of CAC accredited agents are lawyers- lawyers who due to CAC's ineptitude, appear incompetent in the eyes of their clients.
