Spacious Roads in Kamothe
Kamothe, Raigarh District, which has a population count of over 300000 residents has become an unplanned city in Panvel Municipal Corporation. With increased number of residents, there are better, wider roads required all over Kamothe but on the contrary the roads are becoming narrower due to the bad condition of roads and double, triple parking on the main roads.
During peak hours some of the key locations like "Outside Kamothe police station market", "Near Gokul Dairy", "Ashvitha Bar and Restaurant" are super crowded because residents, Mini Vans, luggage tempos park right in the middle of the road without caring about the inconvenience caused to others.
There are a lot of vehicles driving in the wrong side without worrying about accidents and consequences of driving on the wrong side. Not only drivers/ vehicle owners are not worried about violating traffic rules, they also get into fights despite being wrong.
Traffic police can contribute significantly by patrolling during peak hours, making it pay and park in main roads, mandating odd and even day parking.
