The way the story is written and rumors that the story is wrapping up, it is becoming increasingly clear to predict that the story will favor Satou Kazuma ending up with Arch Wizard Megumin. I, along with everyone who signed this petition, throughly believe that the best way to keep the series strong for character development and comedy- is to have Kazuma end up with Paladin Dustiness Ford Lalatina (a.k.a Darkness). Among the hundreds of moments to why these two like each other (which naturally comes down to the amazing writing and the gel of the two characters) is a bond by Kazuma's love for Darkness' real personality (and not just purely her masochistic one) and Darkness's love for Kazuma (with willingness to change herself to fit him). Kazuma also seems to treat Lalatina with more than just pure lust while the relationship between him and Megumin boils down to parental (aside from the very lewd moments) rather than one of a romantic life sharing bond. Darkness also actively seeks Kazuma both in safety of friendship and romance. It is not lost on me that Darkness is not the most popular character but I hope these points will help show how organic the story can still be and how many people will support the decision of Darkness x Kazuma. It also is not lost how disrespectful I am for writing this, to ask you to change your work is something I would not take lightly. But among all plot points, I heavily believe this is the right thing to do and I beg all of you, from Natsume Akatsuki to the entire studio, please consider Kazuma x Darkness canon! Thank you
