Nations In ACTION presents: Accountability Audits

The Issue

The Good Government Accountability & Audit (GGAA) Act

Nations In ACTION Presents: Accountability & Audit Act: Implement a “Legislative Sunset Advisory Subcommittee” to thoroughly assess and evaluate state agencies with the aim of potentially disbanding certain agencies. Even if agencies are not abolished outright, this act outlines measures to improve service and efficiency, eliminate duplicative functions, and minimize wasteful spending. The continued existence of an agency will be contingent upon its ability to demonstrate its effectiveness, utility, and service to the public. See Addendum for further clarification.

Problem: Elected officials and bureaucrats implement unconstitutional legislation with reckless spending, illegal regulations, weaponization of government against citizens, and illegal actions from current and past administrations.

Solution: Transparent Government: The Good Government Accountability & Audit Act requires all three branches of Government (Executive, Legislative & Judiciary) to complete an extensive cyclical review to ensure constitutionality.

Evaluation Criteria:

a. Are they performing the function or service originally commissioned?

b. Are they achieving goals, objectives, or original legislative intent?

c. Are they failing to achieve legislated directives?

d. Are they duplicating or overlapping programs of other agencies?

Benefits:

v Expose and terminate all government weaponization against citizens, politicians, and companies

v Rescind unconstitutional legislation

v Expose elected officials and bureaucrats that violate laws & oath of office

v End departments and programs outside of the role of government

v Enable businesses to create jobs by ending government favoritism and interference

v Analyze & balance budgets to prevent wasteful and unconstitutional spending

v Eliminate bureaucratic control, bloated budgets and “staff” that do not show up for work

v Enforce 10th amendment (States' Rights over Fed Gov) across all departments, agencies, and commissions

Step 1. Pass legislation that cyclically (6 – 10 years) sunsets all government entities to guarantee transparency and accountability with a thorough analysis of all activities to ensure constitutionality.

Good Government Accountability & Sunset Bill:

SOLVE THE PROBLEM: Uncontrolled and inappropriate spending

Solution:

v Ensure constitutionality

v Test ability to achieve goals and adhere to the legislative intent

v Fix or abolish if ineffective or duplicative

Benefits:

*End unelected bureaucrats creating law through regulations

*Implement a “Legislative Sunset Advisory Committee” to find and eliminate duplicity

*Constitutionality for every bill, regulation, and law.
