National Teacher's Registration for Australian Teachers

National Teacher's Registration for Australian Teachers
The issue
When I graduated and began my career as a nurse in 2006, there were rumours of a National Registration for the Nursing and Allied Health sector. This went on to become a reality.
In 2017 I completed a post-graduate Teaching degree and love my job.
With the current teaching crisis that our country is facing, I believe that we as teachers need to be Nationally Registered in line with the National Curriculum and other professional sectors. Appling and paying for state registration is a hindrance that prevents teachers from seeking other positions outside of their state. Slows the process of schools trying to attract teachers to move and needs to be changed.
If you agree with the call for National Teacher Registration, please sign my petition, but more importantly, share this with your colleagues, union representatives, government members and anyone else.
Thank you
