How is shooting a hound legal? This is not normal and morally wrong in so many ways, its absolutely disgusting. This day and age there are kinder ways to euthanize an animal. I found Friday evenings news extremely disturbing and this will haunt me for a very long time. This cruelty needs to stop NOW. This is morally wrong and watching the video evidence of a man whose profession is to care for the hounds calmly shoot a hound in the head should not go unpunished. Why do they need to end this animals life in this way is it to save money? Do they get pleasure in shooting this helpless animal? In my opinion these people are sadists and that this is  another form of enjoyment that they thrive on. These hounds are working dogs and work extremely hard and this is how they end their lives. How are they legally allowed to do this? How? Why are these organisations issued with gun licences? Are they trained in using guns and know exactly how to instantly kill an animal, after what I saw on the news I think not?  Hounds or any animal does not deserve to be shot in the head, it's inhumane. Myself and my  family are animal lovers and have been totally shocked by what we have seen. What happens behind closed doors at these kennels? This needs to be looked into NOW before anymore hounds get destroyed this barbaric way. This issue and all animal rights need to change and WE need to do the right thing for all animals as they have no voice!
