After the report that was made public on October 26th 2021, Former Chicago Blackhawks Video Coach Brad Aldrichs' unwarranted sexual advances and misconduct was made public. The Chicago Blackhawks were fined 2 million dollars and many front office staff lost their jobs. However, Aldrichs' name remains on the Stanley Cup and should be removed in light of these crimes. It's not uncommon for names to be removed from the cup as former Edmonton oilers owner Basil Pocklingtons name was removed after the fact. We should remove his name from the cherish Cup and remove his stain from this item of great importance and value. The NHL needs to stand up and prove once and for all it is committed to change and to rectifying these past indiscretions.
