National highway 79 which is connecting Ulundurpet to Salem (126Kms) stretch in Tamilnadu was built and operated for more than 5 years and they are collecting usual tolls across the stretch, But all the by pass which is crossing is still in 2 lanes, It leads to day to day traffic violations and many accidents, Not less than 50+ people's and animals were died or injured in the mentioned highway, But state and central governments are eagerly planning for 8 lane between Salem to Chennai instead of upgrading existing highway NH 79. If failed to upgrade government should not allow to collect toll fee in the stretch. 

On # 18th July a single accident was cost 10 poor people's life at Kallakurichi bypass, Its It's clearly because of the poor traffic signal and sudden 2 lane in the highway,.

10 people, including seven workers from Jharkhand, died in a head-on collision between an omnibus and a truck near Kallakurichi in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Thursday.
