This time let’s make it more interesting. Let’s look at it differently. May be Indian Space Organisation might benefit from this technology. As they are working on mission to Moon. 

NH66 is built using rocket science. It’s a technology that has taken 10 years and One can get the experience of driving on moon’s surface right here on earth.
As per our Honourable Minister, Highway Authority builds 30km Road per day through out India.

Sir it’s time we focus on building good quality roads. Let’s not boast about quantity. Because in case of NH66 the equation does not add up 

10 years and still 200km is incomplete. And the road which was supposedly completed before March 2020 is already in dire state by July 2020. 

The National Highway 17(newly named as NH 66) has been in dire state for last decade. I am focusing on only the 200km lane expansion from Panvel to Poladpur. The work is on going for past 10 years and will continue forever as the quality of tar roads seem to not withstand rains in Kokan. The tar roads in rest of world can withstand snow, rains but for some reason the tar roads of NH 66 can’t withstand rains even for a month. 

Driving on this road is hazardous for many reasons

01. Pot holes as big as craters

02. There are incomplete patches on both the sides of road and hence you have traffic coming from wrong directions on both sides. 

03. Lack of signage for on going work 

Let us sign this petition and get the National Highway Authorities along with our Honourable Prime Minister to look into this matter.
