If you grew up in the 80's then you know who Johnny 5 is, and chances are that if you DIDN'T grow up in the 80's you STILL know who Johnny 5 is.   

Johnny 5 (also known as Number 5), was the main character / robot in the 1986 hit movie "Short Circuit" and its 1988 sequel "Short Circuit 2".

Back when I first saw the movie Short Circuit in 1986, all I could think of is, "Man, I want a Johnny 5 robot."  Sadly, it never happened.  Then, in 1988 with the release of Short Circuit 2.,  I thought, "wow a sequel, a Johnny 5 robot toy should be coming out!"  Hell, they even had small robot toys of Johnny 5 in the movie! 
Sadly, no toy has ever come out.  Johnny 5 is probably one of the most iconic characters that deserves his own toy / action figure and there was no way of getting that message around, until modern times.  You see, when I was a kid, there was no internet, or social media apps and websites to get us in touch with the toy companies themselves.  Today is a whole new world.  

Which brings me here, to this petition.   With your signatures, collectors, fans and movie enthusiasts alike. If enough of us want this figure to be made, and sign this petition as a declaration to that,  perhaps N.E.C.A (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) Will understand that Johnny 5 is INDEED a highly sought after Action figure.
