We are holding physical demonstrations in front of the NCC  at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa  on Monday  June 5th from 12-2pm and on June 22nd from  9am to 1:00pm.  June 22nd is the next  NCC Public Board of Directors meeting  form 10am-12pm. We need a strong presence on that  date to show the NCC, its board members and the new board of directors president our cause. 

We will  contact  the media to be the demonstration site. We have obtained City of Ottawa Permits  and I will be the Liaison with Ottawa Police  during the event.

These are  peaceful demonstrations, please  make sure that you follow the rules of Ottawa City and Police.  You can prepare  your sign, we will have a few signs too.  

Please be aware of the following rule from City of Ottawa regarding signs:

“Signs or banners, other than plastic foam core signs, must be made of cardboard or cloth/nylon.  Plastic foam core signs must be limited to 1.0 cm in thickness, 41.0 cm in width and 61.0 cm in length.  All types of signs or banners must be supported by cardboard or softwood supports no larger than 2.5 cm by 2.5 cm.  These supports must not exceed 2.0 m in length.  The ends of the supports must not be pointed or sharp”

We have a limited number of  T–shirts   that say “ Parc de la Gatineau Park, Access for all Accès pour TOUS Access for ALL”.  The T-shirts cost us 23$  per T shirts.  Let us know if you would like one. We would like people to wear the T shirts during the demonstration and their hikes to raise awareness when possible .
