The NCC released their schedule for this year and it is still a discriminatory schedule. After all of our efforts and the media exposure of the cause the only changes that the NCC did was giving access all day Wednesday and access on Saturday and Sunday starting 12pm instead 12pm.  This is still discriminatory, inequitable and non inclusive.

We will be ramping our efforts to restore access  to our park (Gatineau Park belongs to all Canadians and tourists too). We will be having a Zoom meeting tomorrow , Sunday 6th May 2023 at 10:00am.  Please  Email restoreaccessgatpark@gmail.com if you are interested in attending or volunteering  with us.

We will be having physical demonstrations, public awareness campaigns, data collection, creating  public awareness videos  and other efforts to support our cause.

We need people from the affected groups to help us with these efforts and  have their story  heard.

Our efforts led to multiple news articles and TV exposure and an NCC board raising the issue in the last NCC Board meeting  in April.  We made a minor progress but this is a marathon that we need to run together in order  to get to the finish line.
