The Constitution prevents cruel and unusual punishment while incarcerated which typically requires showing that officials acted with deliberate and difference. Checking cameras is the same as having body cam. We need to protect the ones that are unseen. The department of Justice can file a lawsuit in the federal court (Cripa Complaint) or even press civil rights charges.

Not just for an individuals but for many. It has to be a systematic issue, and yes that is what is happening in Terre Haute. When correctional officers attack inmates in the medical units and do not give them the option of medical treatment, that is cruel and unusual punishment.

The 14th amendment even while incarcerated racial slurs or discrimination based on race by prison officials are prohibited by law. This has to be enforced. Until we address this problem, until we let them see that we care about the ones that are incarcerated, until they are faced with these injustices, there will be no change.

We can stand together as a unit to push for these changes. To have them follow the law to respect our civil rights it's not just me and my family I know there are others. We need to come together for CHANGE
