Literally thousands of police officers have been caught on duty, committing sexual acts which include rape and sexual assault of children and child pornography. These "sex crimes" committed by police have gone under reported by mainstream media. Yet, it is media portraying police as "hero's under attack" for protecting the public against the very crimes they themselves are committing! How are we to protect ourselves and our children against a "hidden element of criminal activity" undercover - holding a badge and shield which signifies "trust worthy"? Who are we to blame if we are that segment of society who continues to justify the acts of police that are indeed criminal? Why are we comfortable designating crime as belonging to "a particular people" when the evidence given showing the "criminal activity of police" is disregarded? Police are not above the law. They have in fact been "made the law" and it could not have happened, except the law-abiding citizen allowed it. For criminals do not vote, nor do they participate in public discourse concerning policy. The law-abiding citizen must be held accountable for what they permit to exist in their society. And if it true, they have "no voice" and their "vote and say" is being dwarfed by those in power who call the shots, by virtue of the ability to finance a candidate who "acts in the interest of the wealthy", then this too is cause for "nation wide action" for "the power of the people" has been made null and void. It's not enough to sit and "wait and see" what happens when lives are on the line and those lives can be taken at "any moment" of any day. It's not enough to predict the ending of a court case, where the expectation is conviction but ends in not guilty. Nor is it enough to "want an end" to police murders, brutalizations and false arrests. For as we see here, those aren't the only crimes being committed. What we choose for ourselves individually, is a right all can avail themselves of or not. None but the individual themselves shall "gain or lose". When it comes to "public servants" we all must have a say and our say should be heard loud and clear, and if we neglect to make it clear or prevent it from being ignored - who can we fault but ourselves? Our collective power has been talked about and issued a phrase "the power of the people". And those people need not look to government to "take up it's cause" but government should "look to the people" in finding better ways of serving. And if that is not the case, and people must "beg and plead" for the murders of the innocent to cease, then an ERA has ended, a people have been abandoned and "left to fend for themselves". And government, which had previously addressed the needs of it's people, has found a new people, whose concerns they represent and they are the "rich and wealthy". It's not for me to command any to "fight for their lives" because life is viewed individually, each having a different perspective from the other. What I will do is "champion the cause of the innocent" deserving of justice yet receiving none. The invitation to fight cannot be accepted by those who fear "a wasting of time" shall be the end results. Time spent on what is right, just and needed, should not ever be considered a waste. Time "wasted" is time spent on hope with no basis for the hope being extended. I have plenty of basis for the hope extended regarding this demand. I saw what others couldn't see and championed a cause benefitting a nation, while others fought individual cases. The signs were there and told the story in advance what we'd all be facing. And though I knew it and saw it and "told it", I was alone in the demand being made, "save but a few" who sought to aid and assist this going forward. All across the nation "accountability" is being demanded. A day which I knew would be coming. There's indeed "another day" that will be coming and sooner than we think. But I won't tell you what should be done concerning it; I learned people hear what they want to and when the truth unsettles them they will take the lie instead. Nothing like being comfortable in a fantasy all your own. At least here, you find courage to determine your own destiny!
