Hello friends and family- We finished up a good, but busy week in Baton Rouge visiting LSU for Kayne's orientation. This was Kayne's second time at LSU and he loved it even more this time. Kayne and I visited LSU a couple of years ago before his junior year. That year we were able to see Mike the Tiger. On this trip we saw the renovations being done to the habitat for the incoming Mike the Tiger. He's going to have a sweet setup! The Louisiana Art and Science Museum opened up for a private tour just for Kayne on Monday. Kayne's favorite day was the actual day of orientation. He was able to be with all the other students and even hung out with some of them later that night. We all arrived back home on Thursday and to say Kayne was tired was an understatement. He slept in until noon on Friday. He had been on the go for several weeks. A lot of early mornings. Kayne had a good weekend as he was able to hang with some of his friends and he also got in some Xbox time with the online friends. Kayne and Kirsten flew to Cincinnati today in preparation for radiation tomorrow. They are staying at her Dad & Lila's house in Union, Ky. Since radiation only takes about fifteen minutes, it was decided to stay closer to family and friends versus staying at the Ronald McDonald house again. Keagan will be returning home tomorrow after he attended a wedding this weekend in Ohio. I am not going to Cincinnati for a couple of weeks, due to medical appointments over the next two weeks. I will see them again when Kirsten and Kayne arrive back in Florida for a the big family week in Estero Beach, Florida on June 7. Kirsten plans on posting on Facebook every day the time for radiation treatment so if you are able, please join us for prayer daily at that time. Radiation last for 6 weeks, right up until Kayne goes to school. He will get a few days back home, only briefly. I have had a few friends say they haven't wanted to bother me as we are busy, but please drop a note on email, Facebook, or a text. It is always good to know were still in your thoughts. Have a blessed week and may God heal our precious Kayne. www.cannonballsforkayne.org Curtis Finley (curtis.finley@gmail.com)
