Juneau is a 7 (?) month old puppy owned by a roommate of mine. Over the past few months its been apparent that Juneau has been left for days in her crate without any food or water and no one to let her out. Speaking with her owner we’ve only subjected ourselves to verbal abuse. Though we’ve been working on documenting it, we’ve had very little way to help. The problem has escalated farther the past few weeks with physical abuse and neglect leading to extreme unsanitary conditions, starvation and just complete lack of care the dog deserves. We have had multiple people reaching out trying to help and although we’re at a loss of what more to do, gaining traction with this petition could bring more awareness to how dire this situation is and potentially hold the owner accountable so she seeks to rehome Juneau. We have reached out to animal control and our case sadly wasn’t enough to get Juneau taken. This story has gained attention on social media and triggered a lot of the public’s emotions regarding the dog. This is to help spread awareness and potentially lead to help for Juneau.
