Wooden Bench - The Mound

Wooden Bench - The Mound
The Issue
This is a petition for the wooden bench that was recently constructed and was purposefully placed, to remain where it is on the Mound in St. Werburghs. The bench is a memorial to Bristol's Molly Sayer who sadly passed away in April.
A little back story to it. The bench itself is made out of the double bunk bed Molly and I built. We made it in two days out of the leftover wood from her garden decking. Too much love, effort and beautiful memories went into that, just to throw it away. So I thought I'd make a bench out of it and have it placed at her favourite spot at the Mound. A place she loved, where she could escape to watch the countless sunsets and sunrises, where she could admire the beautiful views of Bristol and It felt right putting it there.
The nicest thing I saw was a dog owner sat on Molly’s bench, reading his book in the sun while his dog resting in the shade under the bench. Later, two other dogs joined under the bench to take cover from the sun. Everyone I've talked to that has seen, have agreed that it is a lovely addition to Mound and much prefer it to the metal bench.
The Narroways Trust are having a meeting to discuss the bench remaining on The Mound or not. Although we have members willing to fight for the cause we are trying to collect as many signatures as possible from the public.
