Sri S. A. Ramadass, a leader loved and adored by all, a leader who cares and has worked for children, education, downtrodden, environment, tourism and the overall development of the people in Mysuru and by extension, Karnataka, has not been offered a ministry in the BS Yeddyurappa Cabinet.

We have listed his various achievements below, however what is pressing now is the upcoming mega festival of Karnataka - the “Naada Habba/” Mysuru Dasara. Attracting millions of tourists and localities alike, Mysuru Dasara is a brand that creates jobs for thousands, brings people together, helps in generating bountiful revenue for the state and puts Karnataka on the Global Map. Planning this event requires total attention to detail, awareness of the talents and resources inherent in the city and the state by large, and a strong association with stakeholders of the city. Hence, having served as the District in-charge Minister for Mysore District bewteen 2008-13, Sri S. A. Ramadass has the knowledge, ability, network and vision to be instated as the District Incharge Minister again, and we request the people of Karnataka to support us by signing this petition and having it reach to the High Command.

Previous achievements of Sri S. A. Ramadass

On the other hand, as a citizen, he has worked, through his non-profit Aasare, and associations with stakeholders - Bharat Informal Workers Institute, in bringing welfare to children and the unorganised sector. Nearly 200 HIV-infected children have been adopted and with the association of Germans and a few other organisations, they are being treated using Indian method of treatments and the infection rate among children is coming down considerably. He has also worked on Intervention of Yoga, Agnihotri, Suryapana and Ayurveda on improving health of HIV+ Patients.

Always available to people, always in the midst and minds of people, Sri. S. A. Ramadass is a citizen first and a politician who is staunchly against corrpution, true believer in saving and protecting environment, imparting quality education and with all faculties to help take Karnataka to the next level.
