The Issue
Pursuant to NMC 6.36.190 and NMC 6.04.170:
We, the undersigned, oppose the current restrictions to the off-leash dog area at Alston Park, City of Napa, CA. We propose the expansion of the off-leash area to be all of Alston Park, thereby designating all of Alston Park as a dog park area.
- Promotion of City of Napa as a "dog-friendly" place to visit
- Give locals and visitors a larger off-leash dog area
- Many other park areas are available for walking, jogging and biking without dogs off-leash
- Free up the City of Napa police to attend to other "crime"
