Donate to Prides you've attended
The Issue
On June the 27th and 28th Coventry had it's first Pride.
Business' present at Coventry pride both paid for a stall and donated 15% of their profit on the day, this included the small independent stalls.
Nando's then turned up at Coventry Pride without booking a stall and came with fliers and their mascot.
They made no donation or other contribution.
We feel that given the small businesses paid for stalls and donated 15% of their profits to Coventry Pride that Nando's, being a larger company should be at least able to do the same.
We have heard from other Prides that Nando's have said on their website that they are going to, that Nando's have not booked a stall or donated to those Prides either.
Big business shouldn't just see LGBT people as a money-making advertisement
We call upon Nando's UK to make a donation to Coventry Pride, and to the other Pride events that they have attended or plan to attend, but not donated to.
