It is with utmost importance that I urge immediate drastic change in Nando’s Bedford FOR the Muslim community. It is vital that we handle this issue with due care and shed light on an ongoing crisis, a crisis which has been overlooked by many. We as a minority and as a community must come together to confront the injustice that many had failed to observe. The negligence will no longer be tolerated, we must bring halal chicken to Nando’s immediately. Long gone are those days of hunger, long gone are those days of yearning for Nando’s chicken only to be turned away with the fact that their chicken is not halal. Is it acceptable for Nando’s to say only Luton and Milton Keynes shall be halal? Might I answer in disgust, No, it is not acceptable. Why waste money on fuel to get to a halal Nando’s when I could spend that money on chicken? It is disgraceful that we live in a society where that is considered the norm. Just like Dave across the street, we Muslims also enjoy a good evening at Nando’s every now and then. So tell me, why is it more accessible to Dave than it is to us. Change is needed and change is what we’ll get. Is Nando’s with the EDL members or is Nando’s for the average Muslim? We must come together and resolve this ongoing injustice.
