Hello, there! If you already have pledged via Kickstarter to get your "copy" — or 2 or 3 or 6! — of the first t-shirt of The Emperor's Bridge Campaign: Thank you so much! If not — or if you want to give an extra nudge to an Emperor-saluting friend... Consider this your "two-day warning" that our Kickstarter will end this Sunday 6 September at 7:16 p.m. Pacific. Our limited edition, made-and-printed-in-California t-shirt features a fabulous design based on a rarely seen 1939 illustration of Emperor Norton by Lois Hanscom (1915-1995). Recently, The Wall Street Journal wrote that the Campaign has "the boldest efforts to honor the Emperor" (see http://ow.ly/RO5vR). Indeed, The Emperor's Bridge Campaign is the only nonprofit whose sole mission is to honor the life and advance the legacy of Emperor Norton. Our projects >>> http://ow.ly/RO6dm Our research >>> http://ow.ly/RO6k4 Our events >>> http://ow.ly/RO6tm By pledging to get a shirt, you can represent the Emperor and support the work of the Campaign at the same time! This includes our project — now a "campaign within the Campaign" — to name the Bay Bridge for the Emperor. Plus: When you get our Emperor Norton t-shirt as a reward through Kickstarter, there's NO TAX and NO SHIPPING. The online price will never be this good again! And: This shirt is the first in a series. Those bragging rights alone are worth the price of admission! ;) You can pledge now at http://ow.ly/RO7zB. Cheers!!! :: :: :: THIS SUNDAY! <<< Walking Tour with Emperor Norton to Benefit the Campaign A final note: If you're going to be in San Francisco this weekend, please consider joining us on Sunday afternoon for our walking tour with Emperor Norton — played by Joseph Amster of Emperor Norton's Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine. The tour is being offered as a benefit for The Emperor's Bridge Campaign. Tickets are $20 (or $10 for kids 5-10) — and 100% of all ticket sales will go to the Campaign. For details and tickets, visit our Web site at http://ow.ly/RO8Lh. You also are welcome to buy your tickets "at the door" — cash, credit or debit. The tour starts on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. — under the Dewey Monument in Union Square (or at Geary and Powell Streets, if the monument is blocked). Hope to see you there!
