Leonid Dukhovny was killed on May 4, 2022. He was one of the most famous bards (folk-singer) in Kyiv's history.

* Leonid Dukhovny wrote 2nd most famous song about Kyiv "А Без Подола Киев Невозможен". 

* If you combine "Подол" with other Dukhovny's songs about Kyiv, such as "Евбаз", "Бессарабка", "Шулявка" and other, he wrote the most amount of famous songs about Kyiv in history.

* Outside Ukraine, Leonid Dukhovny's songs about Kyiv are actually the most well known songs about Kyiv in other countries. They spread the admiration of Kyiv throughout the world. (there were many songs about Ukraine, but this songs are specifically about it's capital, Kyiv). 

* Hundreds of building in Kyiv and number of ships on the Dnipro River where built using Leonid Dukhovny's designs and patents (he was a head scientist in a materials lab in Kyiv).

A person who did so much for the fame of Kyiv, deserves a street named after him.
