It is widely known that fig wasps are needed to pollinate figs. In this process, the figs act as a carnivorous plant, eating the wasp. In much the same way that we say that burlap is made from jute and factory energy, a fig is made (mostly) by wasps and solar energy. However, in many materials (cotton, wool, etc.), there is no name for the intermediary. We contend that this is the case for waspfruit (as it shall be known as well, but that's prolly a different petition). Therefore, a name befitting of a treat which uses these waspfruits should be "Wasp Newtons". What is a Newton anyway? Are we measuring force here? No? Ok.
