Petition updateMy son died at a music festival – start pill testing to save livesHere are two good ways to get the Vic Premier's attention

Once again I find myself feeling powerless as I watch the evening news, another lot of drug overdoses and four people in hospital.
No one really knows for certain what was in these drugs.
How many times do we need to say it? People will continue to use drugs regardless of the consequences.
How many times do we need to keep telling the same old story? I feel anger, giving way to desperation, at the lack of a safety net. The government needs to get behind drug safety testing not only in Victoria but Australia wide.
My understanding is that we have the means, the knowledge and the technology. We just need leaders with the willingness to do it.
How many people must die or suffer horrific life threatening consequences as a result of inaction by the Andrews Government? A government with a total disregard to a community issue that touches so many of us, and that will not go away.
We cannot arrest and incarcerate our way out of this issue, the war on drugs was lost a long time ago.
We need to get the Premier's attention and you can help.
I ask you please contact Daniel Andrews' office to ask the Premier to do the job he was elected to do and that is to work for the benefit of all the community.
Here are two good ways to get a politician's attention. Can you do just one of them today?
1. Call his office and tell him it's time for drug safety testing. The number is (03) 9651 5000. If you need some talking points, go to our campaign website here http://www.testsnotarrests.org/
2. Send him a hand written letter. The address is
Office of the Premier
1 Treasury Place
Melbourne, Victoria
Australia, 3002
Thanks for being part of the campaign. Please stay strong with me.
