I do believe there was a rollout for fibre in bengal street Laudium running from the shell garage up to the schools .There's a lack of fibre Internet in Laudium x3 and its surrounding areas and I think there is a high demand for the service as we have started a group that have grown somewhat in size and all have and know of others interested in fibre Internet. We have contacted numerous ISPs to no avail and I’m looking to build a bit of interest to send over to Openserve and others so they can see the demand and perhaps expedite the roll out of fibre broadband in the area and to show that enough interest exists within the community for fibre broadband.Lte 4g is not stable due to high demands on the network. Copper cables have been stolen numerous times. Telkom has decided to not replace the stolen cables leaving the entire suburb without dsl.In today's time I believe that fast internet is a necessity. Alot of people I know currently have fibre in their area and their internet is far superior compared to mine. I constantly experience issues with my connection (including connectivity issues) due to this low speed and I think it's time to change that. I believe it's time to give us what we deserve, fibre.

We have two viable options, 3G or LTE and peer to peer services.Both are expensive if you utilise streaming services, game, download etc.

Our only option is to show interest in the suburb to the backbone installers so we get fibre, the most cost-effective and reliable broadband service.
