[MW2R] Return Crossplay Toggle To PC

[MW2R] Return Crossplay Toggle To PC
The Issue
During the beta for Modern Warefare 2 Remastered there was a crossplay toggle button in settings so each player could choose who theyd like to play with. After a short period of time it was taken away from PC users. console users continue to have the choice. A large portion of the PC community doesnt want to play with console players. We want the choice as everyone else has.
RETURN THE CROSSPLAY TOGGLE!

The first FPS games came out for PC. Period. Wolfenstein, Commander Keen, Doom, Hexen. All of these games were first created for PC and had no Console ports until the N64 came about quite a few years down the line. The Genre was BORN on PC and MOLDED PC gaming. FPS games were some of the most popular games.
Second, Multiplayer gaming was BORN on PC. Consoles did not have internet connection until the PS1 came out with a addon that you had to purchase and pay a monthly fee to access. Meanwhile PCs had enjoyed networked games as early as the first Doom. So you can say quite readily that Multiplayer gaming was BORN on PCs as well and later brought to consoles.
Online multiplayer on consoles didnt really take the mainstream until the XBOX came out with XB Live. So I am sorry to say you are categorically wrong on all counts.
The prevalence of cheaters does not negate FPS games being on PC. Sorry but your logic just doesnt add up.
FPS games were first designed to be played with MKB and have basically followed that same design principle ever since.
For instance, you could NEVER port a game like ARMA III to a console successfully because of the sheer number of keybinds that game needs to be played. So the deeper a FPS game the more likely it is to be a PC only exclusive. Take Escape from Tarkov for instance... I would love to see anyone try to play that game on a controller, let alone port it over to a console.
FPS and PC games will forever be intrinsically linked, together with MKB. Anything else is pure fantasy."
