The Bayonne Board of Education is forcing teachers to use the platform "Schoology." This platform is poorly designed and not user friendly and in the few short hours that it has been used, it proposed a multitude of problems to countless students. While using the website, my laptop crashed and wouldn't load and it cost me the entirety of my English period. Even teachers, who have been practicing how to use the platform for months, are confused by it. Other businesses and corporations that have used the app left reviews and low ratings stating that it is not helpful and has in fact made doing cooperative work online harder. The Bayonne Board of Education is not allowing teachers to use Google Classroom because they paid for Schoology's services, however this has made virtual learning harder on the students and teachers. We shouldn't have to learn the platform we're using TO learn. Please sign this petition so that we can use Google Classroom and have a hassle free, unproblematic year.
