This is “Rafa’a Al-Tahtawi”. He is an Egyptian muslim who lived during the 19th century. When Rafa’a was old enough, he joined the “madrassa” the islamic school, learning about literature, the quran and Hadeeth, and islamic knowledge. In 1826, he was sent to Paris by the ruler of Egypt at the time, bringing back the European science. He was both a muslim and a man of Europe fascinated by their culture.

Muslims around the globe are facing a major hate campaign lead by western governments, media...etc

Synchronously, we are witnessing terrorist attacks happening  in France, Austria (attacks in Nice and Vienna)... 

It is well known that most wars and clashes are the result of “misunderstandings” and “unreasonable fear”. And media ,with no further discussion, are the main influencers regarding any occurrence. Media is a weapon used throughout history to polarize the citizens to take pragmatic action to achieve the government’s “desires” in the name of “democracy”.

“Joseph Goebbels” was the minister of propaganda for Nazi Germany. Through his verbal and communication skills, and the art of media influencing, he was able to polarize the germans to fight and WWII occurred, with all its drastic consequences.

Today, history is repeating itself. The president of France spoke about the “radical Islam”, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel stated “the fight against terrorist Islam is a mutual fight”. Regardless of the “noble” sounds of it, the wording makes it seem as if “all terrorists are muslims”, which is definitely not the case

This petition is directed to show the views of the muslim world —regarding these terrorizing, devastating occurrences—to the western world, as an attempt to stop the discrimination acted by most of the media platforms in Europe. This hatred which will definitely  lead to more and more terrorizing attacks from both sides, leading to a major clash between the two cultures, because of a simple “misunderstanding” due to the huge “misdirection” done by the media
