Derrick Staton ( age 16)was killed by Officer Gary Lee Bottalico on January 1st, 2018 at 1pm on Route 301 in Brandywine,Maryland. The officer who took his life is currently still working for the Metro Transit Police Department. Their were no charges placed against Officer Bottalico.
