EXAMS ARE NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE STUDENTS' WELLBEING.

  For some reason, the university of Mumbai feels it's students are immune to the grave threat of Corona virus (COVID-19) that has already claimed thousands of lives throughout the world and is gripping Mumbai in its clutches , each passing day. 

If all other colleges and institutions, billion dollar business firms , and every responsible organisation is advising their students/employees/members to stay home safe, why does Mumbai university feel the need to make students travel all along the local railway to appear for an exam which can easily be postponed or cancelled without much harm to the academic timelines with the summer vacation being just in queue.  I'm a student of SK SOMAIYA COLLEGE, SOMAIYA VIDYAVIHAR. 

The settings of our official college WhatsApp group were changed to "admin only" when students asked questions and showed concern about the growing threat.

Along with our college, there are various other colleges who're not taking this threat seriously enough and gambling on the well-being of its students. 

I request all of you responsible citizens to sign this petition and help us be heard. I hope this petition reaches the concerned authorities. Thank you.
