I am unable to secure employment with any municipal police department due to false and damaging statements made by the Matthews Police Department's command staff and human resources department. They have been spreading misinformation about my character and work ethic, hindering my career prospects. This has caused severe emotional and financial stress on me and my family, especially after I stood up against their racist and selective enforcement practices.

I was unjustly fired after exposing their discriminatory actions. In response, they have manipulated the narrative, attempting to paint me as an unreliable person. This is far from the truth. Matthews Police Department’s attempts to save face by hiring a black chief and adding a black recruitment officer cannot erase the systemic racism that persists in their operations.

Their lies and harassment have not only affected me but have also led to a former mayor suing them for similar deceptions. They are using their influence and connections to tarnish the integrity of honest individuals who dare to speak out. This corruption and hypocrisy must be investigated by the state of North Carolina to ensure justice for those who have been wronged.

I urge the state authorities to launch a comprehensive investigation into the Matthews Police Department’s actions and to clear my name from all negative assertions, allowing me to pursue my career without undue obstacles.
