Unfortunately due to Covid-19, and closures of DriveTest centres, many G1 drivers have not been able to partake in a Road Test to receive their G2 Licence.

Drivers who have successfully completed an MTO-approved driving course should receive their G2 Licence free of charge. Drivers who have not completed an MTO approved driving course, or who have not taken a driving course at all would not receive their G2 Licence and will have to wait until DriveTest centers reopen.
