Senior Officials from the Msunduzi’s Infrastructure Service Business Unit deliberately ignored their responsibility to residents by failing to attend and account to the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC). This was a clear attempt to avoid accountability and block the committee from exercising its oversight responsibility of ensuring good governance and tranparency. 

We demand the Municipal Manager take the immediate and necessary disciplinary action against all implicated officals.

The residents of Msunduzi deserve competent and accountable officials to manage their municipality.
