MSU President Engler admits, in this interview, that basic student protections DID NOT EXIST at MSU. I wrote him regarding the problems I experienced in the 1990s--and I've still heard NOTHING from him regarding what he's going to do to make things right for the two students that the Department of Student Affairs threatened to OUT AS GAY because they complained about staff incompetence (including MSU's failure to intervene in a suicide attempt of which staff were warned), and abuse of power & position (i.e. a residence director who was trolling students for sex). If you mean it, President Engler, kindly correct what happened. Own it, and fix it.
