Sub - Relief in Electricity Bills during Covid Lockdown

Since March This year We are Facing an Extremely Dangerous Covid-19 Pandemic desease. We saw an unprecedented Total Lockdown for past 3 months (still Continued till July 2020). First Time in History we saw No Transportation No Train Buses Taxis etc No Schools Colleges No Hotels Restaurants No Cinemas Theatres No Garden no sports.

This caused a major shock to everyone since 90% Citizens Lost its daily earnings. Middleclass Was the Worst hit which never got any relief from Govt. Citizens has to face this dual trouble whereby they not only has to save themselves from getting Infected but also equally importantly survive this Difficult period when there is NIL Income.

Now This problem is still not over & seems to continue for atleast another 4-6 months till things started getting settling down. But total stability & normalcy may take atleast another 2-3 years till People Recover from this major unprecedented Shock & Loss of savings.

Unfortunately during this difficult times Public is facing another shock of huge Electricity Bills. Many Citizens complained huge bills of 4-5 times higher charged without any basis. This has added fuel to fire since it was already difficult to survive.

Entire social Media twitter fb & entire Print & Electronic media is sharing Reports of various complaints from consumers showing 4-5 times excess Electricity bills.

These Complains were also shared by Film personalities & many VIPs too (ref Link below for Various Reports). But commom man unable to handle this huge Blow.

Now in Order to survive this difficult Period. And Also to make JUSTICE with Citizens We  humbly request you as Below :-

A) Kindly Waive our past 4 months Electricity Bills for the Month of March April May June.

B) Kindly Waive 50% of Electricity Bills from July onwards upto December & Charge at half Rate.

Above waivers will help us in Long way to meet our day to day expenses & survive this Crises of NIL Earnings.

Please Note that public savings have completely Finished & survival become a very big Challenge.

We wish to share similar decisions made by MP Govt which reduced Electricity Bills by Long way (refer Link). Delhi Govt already waived Electricity Bills upto 200 units. Kerela Govt too announced Electricity Subsidy. If Delhi Kerela & MP Govt can come forward to help Citizens then why not Maharashtra Govt too shows generous way & do JUSTICE.
