You have possibly heard, read and seen the unacceptable conduct of a Postman dumping the letters sent out by Senator the Honourable Paul Scarr in a wheelie bin of a resident in Queensland. The postman was caught in the act on a security camera of the house.

The following is a well-publicised statement of the current Managing Director and Group CEO of Australia Post Mr Paul Graham on the incident.

Australia Post is fully aware of this incident and the matter has the full attention of senior management. Australia Post takes matters of this nature very seriously.

Australia Post is working with Queensland Police and has commenced an internal investigation. All our team members have been fully trained in the right procedures for handling mail at election times. The person involved has been suspended effective immediately pending the outcome of the investigation and we are working with the LNP to deliver these mail items as a priority. We take full responsibility and apologise unreservedly.

The community and Australia Post expect our posties to always fully meet our service obligations especially during an election campaign. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and we will continue to reinforce with our team the important role that we play during elections and adherence to our procedures and service commitment.

Then there is a following statement by an Australian Electoral Commission spokesperson:

This has no effect on the operation of the election whatsoever and that voters can access in-person voting and for those that need a postal vote, can apply via the AEC website directly.

Australia Post has been embroiled in a democracy scandal after a postie was caught on camera dumping hundreds of postal vote mailers into a wheelie bin in a marginal Queensland seat, in a “new dimension” of misconduct prompting high-level ministerial intervention.

Finance Minister Simon Birmingham and Communication Minister Paul Fletcher have written to Australia Post seeking answers amid fears the incident in Labor-held Blair was not a one-off affair, and would harm public confidence in the company’s reliability particularly in democratic activities.

This letter is reported as sent to Australia Post Chair Mr. Lucio Di Bartolomeo.

Dear Supporters,

Now please look at my fight for justice where Australia Post’s senior managers with extensive experience and long term highly paid jobs were simply allowed to leave their jobs without investigations or any punishment. Many are still working in Australia Post after allegedly covering up corruption and crimes.

The Ministers responsible for Australia Post are the Hon Paul Fletcher MP and Senator the Honourable Simon Birmingham. They are aware of my fight for justice for a long time but it appears that they have no courage to hold the big names in Australia Post to account including the former MDs and CEOs Mr Ahmed Fahour and Ms Christine Holgate.

If the postman is involved in breaching Commonwealth laws, he is suspended with immediate effect pending high level investigations. In my case the investigator and his manager have acted allegedly corruptly, dishonestly and are hiding the documents involved in criminal activities which itself is criminal and there is no investigation at all.

The long list of Australia Post officials breaching their own rules, service charters, ethical standards and laws were protected and continued to be protected.

Why are there different rules where the postman here has committed alleged offenses and is suspended and the CEOs and many other high-ranking officials were allowed to leave without investigations after failing to act on documented corruption and crimes cover ups? Many senior officials involved in the alleged cover ups are still working for Australia Post.

The time has come for the new CEO and MD Mr Paul Graham to look at my petition to Ms Holgate and act immediately. This is also the case with the Chairman Mr Lucio Di Bartolomeo.

My matters are known to numerous politicians including my Local Federal Member of Parliament the Hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP. He dismally failed to hold anyone to account from 2012. At that time, he was the Senator for NSW. He continues to fail to act since he became Member of Parliament for Kingsford Smith electorate.

Postman dumping the mail has reportedly affected the democracy and the former CEOs protecting the wrongdoers is ignored where democratic procedures were violated time and again for the past over fifteen and a half years. Why the rules for the CEOs and senior officials are any different when it comes to their documented wrongdoings?

Our elected representatives protecting the wrongdoers is a National Disgrace. They can go after the postman in no time but have no courage to hold Mr Fahour and Ms Holgate, the well-known millionaires, to account for their alleged gross unacceptable misconduct spanning TEN long years. SEVEN years under Mr Fahour and THREE years under Ms Holgate.

I challenge both Mr Fletcher and Senator Birmingham to explain to the nation what is the difference between the Postman and the CEOs breaching the rules of Australia Post when it comes to do their jobs with honesty, integrity and values? As per Australia Post guidelines managers have added responsibilities than the other staff.

How the democracy is affected by postman dumping the mail but not by the criminal activities of the former FOI Commissioner, former Information Commissioner and the former Senior Member of AAT?

How the democracy is not affected by the corrupt conduct of number of officials of the Commonwealth Ombudsman including the former many Commonwealths Ombudsman themselves?

How the democracy is not affected by the elected representatives remaining silent on gross misconduct of many in the Parliament House trying to cover up the matters that are of National Public Interest?

How the democracy is not affected by the successive Prime Ministers protecting Australia Post despite the wrongdoings of numerous Australia Post officials are documented?

How the democracy is not affected after all the Senators for NSW fail to act on unacceptable conduct of numerous Australia Post officials and many in the Parliament House as well?

How many senior officials of Australia Post will be suspended pending investigations in my Identity theft cover ups matters?

How many past senior employees of Australia Post will be investigated for leaving Australia Post jobs after engaging in wrongdoings of unacceptable proportions?

This update will throw light on how the big names in Australia Post have been protected on an ongoing basis.

The unacceptable conduct of the Postman dumping the mail in a wheelie bin, which is now recovered and sent to the right people, is far less criminal than the CEOs allegedly protecting criminals and then leaving the jobs by giving allegedly baseless reasons.

Where is the media that gave publicity to the postman dumping the mail in the bin but protecting the very senior allegedly corrupt officials of Australia Post for many years?

Where is “your ABC? Where is Ms Leigh Sales? Where is Ms Peta Credlin? Ms Credlin has no courage to tell me the truth about the letter with her signature on Mr Tony Abbott’s letterhead received by me while she was his Chief of Staff? Why both Ms Sales and Ms Credlin gave voice to Ms Holgate but then failed to show impartiality by not responding to my many written requests to give me a voice as well?

Dear Supporters, I thank you all for your support and help to keep fighting for justice. The big names in our country should not be above the law.

I thank my 39530 supporters from every corner of Australia. They see injustice, corruption and cover ups. This unprecedented matter will be put before Mr Paul Graham as well. I hope he will show courage to investigate numerous allegedly corrupt people in Australia Post and take this matter of my ID theft cover ups very seriously.

Protecting our democracy is everyone’s responsibility. I hope Mr Fletcher and Senator Birmingham will alert Mr Graham about the ongoing cover ups in my ID theft matters.

I am after the REAL documents involved in my ID theft matters that Australia Post officials are hiding from us. These include an envelope addressed to me with a cheque inside. This envelope is not delivered to me from June 2006.

Any mail addressed to me is my mail. Hiding it intentionally to cover up crimes is also a crime.

Who will investigate the ongoing corruption and cover ups initiated by Australia Post officials? Who will investigate the resignations of Mr Fahour and Ms Holgate?

Postman involved said sorry to the owner of the house after he was caught.

Ms Holgate, Mr Fahour and numerous others have never said sorry after they are caught in the gross misconduct, documented cover ups, hiding the mail, cheque, real documents and even after I was provided with falsified documents certified by their own State Manager of Corporate Security Group while breaching the rules applicable to JPs as well.  

The highest-level corruption culture in Australia Post, as identified by me, must stop immediately.

This matter will continue until the truth is revealed and the real documents are supplied to me by Australia Post.
