Today is the last day of the year 2020. Before I proceed with my update, I wish you all a very happy, healthy, prosperous and very safe New Year 2021. My wishes extend to all the others that will become my future supporters and also to the rest of Australian brothers and sisters and those around the world that will simply read my petition and updates to get an idea of this unprecedented fight for justice to get my Identity theft addressed and justice for my family by revealing the truth.

The TRUTH is hidden from us by the numerous Australia Post officials and many others outside of Australia Post as well. The available democratic processes to get a resolution have all failed and that failure was not a mistake, oversight, lack of expertise, lack of resources, lack of knowledge, lack of money or unavailability of the REAL documents involved.

This failure to tell us the truth is deliberate, calculated, intentional, planned and executed by joint efforts put together by numerous people in our country and that is not limited to Australia Post officials alone. I restricted my efforts to get the truth out from Australia Post officials with this petition to Ms Holgate because the cover ups were initiated by Australia Post officials. Their jobs and responsibilities were to help my family but they took a deliberate wrong and risky path of hiding the truth from us. The cover up started from 15 JUNE 2006 and have never ended to this day-31 December 2020. This is an unprecedented period of 14 years and 6 months of Identity theft cover ups that is still not ending.

My last update clearly mentioned that the news by the media that Ms Christine Holgate resigned because of the Cartier Watches scandal was No.1 FAKE NEWS of the year 2020. I received a massive support and response from my new supporters and that was the indication that new people around the country that signed my petition in just two days and helped to get my supporter number up to 21,716 have accepted or at least suspected that this was indeed a FAKE NEWS.

My challenge to anyone in the media is open for them to prove me wrong. This is because they have ignored me for years and then this fake news was helping them to cover up the real scandal which they kept on ignoring all along right from the time Mr Ahmed Fahour was the Group CEO and MD for over SEVEN years. The same media linked Mr Ahmed Fahour’s resignation to his $ 5.6 Million remuneration which was another FAKE news at the time. That was fuelled by the former Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull and the Minister for Communications former Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield. Both of them have now quit politics. The portfolio Finance Minister for Australia Post was the former Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann. He also recently quit politics after failing to respond to any of letters, for the entire period, he was the Finance Minister.

Ms Holgate’s resignation linked to the Cartier watches is fuelled by our current Prime Minister the Hon Scott Morrison MP and the current Minister for Communications the Hon Paul Fletcher MP. The media jumped on the outrage of the PM about this Cartier watches gift from Ms Holgate to her fellow executives. This same media had no hesitation in sweeping my story, full of substance, under the carpet. Where is the independent and impartial journalism? Where is the honesty in reporting Ms Holgate’s resignation?

Today, I am sharing my letter to the Prime Minister the Hon Scott Morrison MP written after he announced that the investigation is launched about this Cartier watches, given as gifts by Ms Holgate to four employees of Australia Post. He was very much angry about these lavish gifts from Ms Holgate and expected her to stand down as directed and if she does not wish to stand down then she can go, he said in the parliament.

The expenses incurred to give these watches away as gifts was considered as Tax Payers’ money by both Mr Morrison and Mr. Fletcher and also Senator the Hon Kimberley Kitching while asking questions to Ms Holgate in the Senate Estimates. Senator Kitching has also failed to respond to any my letters so far even after her questioning Ms Holgate about these watches.

As the investigation was launched, I wrote to the Prime Minister on 8 November 2020 to see if the money spent by Australia Post for covering up the truth and documented corruption, irrespective of whether it was Tax Payers’ money or otherwise, could also be investigated at the same time. No response is received to that letter.

The report of the investigations, which was expected to be made public, is now with the government but the public will not know what is in the report as it is not going to be released.

My letter to the PM stands even if that report is not made public because finding out the money spent by Australia Post to cover up the matter is important. Those expenses include:

Corruption cover ups, dishonesty, fabrications, manipulations, record tampering, provision of fabricated documents, making of flawed FOI decisions, external lawyer’s fees to hide the REAL documents, the use of in-house lawyers to deny access to the real documents, the

travel, accommodation and other costs associated in one external lawyer and one in-house Legal Officer and National FOI officer to travel from Melbourne to Sydney several times to attend the Administrative Appeals Tribunal-AAT Sydney Registry hearings that went on for one and a half years.

The expenses incurred will increase for covering up of the unacceptable conduct of numerous other officials of Australia Post including the breaches by the Whistle-blower information recipients called “Authorised Officers” for the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013, provision of JP certified fabricated documents where that JP was Australia Post’s own State Manager of Australia Post Corporate Security Group-CSG NSW/ACT,  cheating of elected representatives, suppressing the name of the person that cashed my money order for FOI application fees by obtaining cash and then records show that this $30.00 fees to process FOI application was paid out as the compensation given for the uninsured postal article. This was obviously to balance the books.

The further increase in the expenses will include not providing the requested documents to my solicitor, sending letter to my solicitor with a suspected forged signature of the author shown as Paul Gardner and Mr Gardner failing to tell me if was his signature or not and every other person including Ms Holgate not telling me about the authenticity of that letter from Mr Paul Gardner to my solicitor, closing my file without resolving this matter, not giving my letter with the cheque inside on my name for the past 14 and a half years, three successive Managing Directors and CEO’s failing to act on documented corruption and cover ups, changing positions of the people to hide corruption, making arrangements to allegedly tamper with the letters I was sending out to elected representatives, making arrangements to allegedly see that I do not get back my Delivery Confirmation cards for which I paid for, making arrangements to direct employees to close my files for the complaints lodged on-line, hiding the death of the employee, where that employee was my contact person just 19 days prior to the death, where the cause of the death was suicide, not appointing another contact person, hiding my letter to Mr Fahour with  NFA (“No Further Action”) written on the first page of my letter by the employee who was not supposed to access my letter and also involved in the cover ups and involved in sending me baseless letters, etc. etc. has cost lot of money to Australia Post and that will far exceed the $19950 spent by Ms Holgate on the watches.

This is why this matter has become a PUBLIC INTEREST matter. The cover ups are unacceptable as they are ongoing. The longer I fought to get the truth out more people have now joined hands to keep the truth covered up.

Now please read my letter to the Prime Minister as mentioned above. It is dated 8 November 2020.

Dear Prime Minister,

You have decided to investigate Australia Post after the revelations that the four top executives were given Cartier Watches as gifts by the former MD & Group CEO Ms Christine Holgate. The cost of the four watches was reported as $19950.

I request you to consider extending that investigation to also investigate how much money was spent by Australia Post over the 14 years and 5 months period to cover up the truth behind my Identity theft.

I have been seeking a meeting with Ms Holgate for a very long time to give me a voice and to listen to me about the documented corruption and cover ups. She did not respond. I received one letter from the lawyer with the name Lucy Tehan. That lawyer has now left Australia Post after failing to send the original copy of that letter in the mail. She said that the letter is in the mail that was sent as a PDF by email. That letter only had a logo of Australia Post but no contact details of any kind on that letterhead. Those details were on the email only. The letter never arrived in the mail.

My family's normal way of life has been ruined after we were told by Australia Post officials that someone used Indonesian passport on my name as a Photo ID to redirect our mail to a PO Box in Haymarket in Sydney.

Due to the failures of the due democratic processes to get a resolution to my ID Theft matters I started petition to Ms Holgate on Change.org platform. That petition has a title: Australia Post must never cover up IDENTITY THEFTS". This petition is now signed and supported by 19938 people from across Australia.

There are regular updates posted to this petition and they were sent to Ms Holgate regularly. She did not respond to my letters. emails, faxes and phone calls.

The amount of money spent by Australia Post could be huge over a fourteen-year period to hide the truth from my family.

The time, resources, legal cost, hiring of an external lawyer to deny access to documents involved in the corrupt activities from me and my family is not known to me. Numerous officials of Australia Post joined hands to deny justice to my family and also did not provide the requested documents to us.

My petition can be easily accessed just by typing in Google "Petition Holgate Vasant ". The use of change.org platform was the last option left for me after the failures of due democratic processes to get the resolution.

I need a voice because we did use the due processes to get a resolution to this matter but found dishonesty all along while dealing with the matter.

This matter is unprecedented and needs thorough investigations as to why Australia Post is hiding the Truth and the REAL documents involved from us.

In what way Ms Holgate and all the others involved could be asked questions in the parliament about this matter and why they provided fabricated documents to us to cover up the truth.

Before Ms Holgate this matter was not resolved by Mr Fahour as well.

I request you to give me a voice as it has been denied for all these years from June 2006.

You have said that "Nobody is above the law". We need justice and the people with deep pockets should not be above the law.

Ms Holgate was given numerous opportunities to address this matter. She remained silent and allegedly breached their well-publicised Ethical Standards herself. Her many inner circle senior officials left Australia Post's long-term jobs. These officials must be on very high remunerations is highly likely.

Please see that Ms Holgate and her team is held to account and asked serious questions in the parliamentary investigations.

Dear Supporters, this was a simple letter to the Prime Minister. No response is yet received. FIFTY-THREE days have passed but the people in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet have failed to respond to my letters to the successive Prime Ministers on this matter.

They all keep their jobs no matter who is in the government. This is where Australia Post got their strength from, to cover up this matter. Total silence from the elected representatives by not asking even a single question to Ms Holgate and Mr Fahour. There was only one exception and that was the letter from the Hon Jason Clare MP, while he was the Shadow Minister for Communications, to the then Minister for Communications the Hon Mitch Fifield. Mr Fifield never responded to Mr. Clare’s letter on this matter is my view. Later on, Mr Clare’s portfolio was changed and the Hon Michelle Rowland MP was made Shadow Minister for Communications by the Hon Bill Shorten MP. She has not responded to any of my letters at all since taking over from Mr. Clare. Mr Clare also failed dismally to respond to my many letters after the failure of Mr Fifield to respond.

One can see why there is a loss of trust with the elected representatives no matter which party they belong to. When will this change? When will our country start moving towards becoming a corruption free country?

Why not start from Australia Post? We all own Australia Post. As the owners, we all have the responsibility to keep Australia Post corruption free and not wasting money to cover ups corruption and crimes as seen by me in my matters of immense Public Interest. 

I have now written to the new Acting CEO and MD Mr Rodney Boys to get the truth out. As he also has the great expertise as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Australia Post it will be very easy for him to put together the money spent by Australia Post on this matter. That must include the actual money spent, manpower used, resources used, legal costs, decision making costs, travel costs, external lawyer fees, air travel from Melbourne to Sydney for the AAT hearings several times and so on. The reputational loss and cost could be costed separately.

I hope he will not repeat the dismal failures of his three predecessors to come up with the truth and nothing but the truth.   

I have no objections for him to make those expenses public after giving me the figures of all these costs. As per the recent events about the Cartier watches given as gifts, it was all Tax Payers’ money if that is correct, spent on covering up my ID Theft truth and that cover up is still not stopped.

We, together, can make a real change right now. Please help me to get justice for my family. Every signature counts and every comment counts.

We cannot allow our good country to spoil the way it is spoiling now and at the rate its DEMOCRACY is derailing now. The People Power is the answer. Will Ms Holgate join us to make a change? I am ready to meet her anytime to start the resolution process. She does not have to be the employee of Australia Post for that. Time for her to break her silence is right now.

The new year 2021 starts tomorrow. Please let us unite to make our country happy, healthy and prosperous and we start a healthy competition with our neighbours New Zealand who are the least corrupt country in the world. That ranking of No.1 least corrupt is shared by them with Denmark.

We are on No.12 but we have the potential to move up the ladder and that means People Power is needed right now to make a change.
