Dear Valued Supporters,

The following is the brief recap of what this petition is all about followed by the detailed update. Please read it fully and you will know the depth of this matter and why the fight for justice must continue.

From June 2006 I have been fighting to get the truth out about my identity theft where fraudulently obtained Indonesian passport on my name was successfully used as a photo ID at Australia Post to redirect my entire family’s mail to a fraudulently opened PO Box on my name at Haymarket PostShop in Haymarket area in Sydney. This matter was very straight forward and could have been resolved within a week is my view. There were many clues, documents, keys handover records of PO Box, Redirection Application processing at the Post Office which was other than the Haymarket, Envelope on my name, Cheque on my name, Mobile number of my imposter on the application forms and so on.

What went wrong is after the initial honesty shown by two employees of Australia Post and after the matter was handed over to their Security which is called Corporate Security Group NSW/ACT they allegedly decided to cover up the whole matter. This is the fight of our lives because it is ongoing from June 2006 and the matter has not been resolved by Australia Post. To understand it I request the current Supporters and the future supporters to read my petition and updates carefully and realise that this is a public interest matter and it could happen to anyone at any time. When around one million people in our country alone are affected every year in some form of the identity theft, any cover ups must be denounced by the people of this nation is my view.  

I have not received any response to my letters and documents sent in the mail, by emails, my petition here on Change.org platform and documents posted here with my updates from Ms Christine Holgate. My requests for a meeting have been ignored and numerous other high-ranking officials of Australia Post also have failed to respond to my emails so far.

My supporter number is now marching towards 9000 and I hope to reach that target soon.

In the past two months I have contacted Ms Holgate many times and also her very senior officials in the Headquarters of Australia Post in Melbourne and also the Investigator, Official that we met at the Alexandria Delivery Facility, the Justice of the Peace that  certified the documents and many elected representatives that include Ministers, Member of Parliaments and Senators to bring it to their attention about my petition and the failure of Ms Holgate to respond to my letters and give me a meeting.

I will not be providing the names of those that have contacted me at this point in time because there are numerous people with vested interest to cover up this matter is my view and I do not want them to get chance to know who has contacted me. My Local Federal Member the Hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP has failed to substantiate his false and misleading statement that my matters were investigated by Police, Ombudsman and (NSW) ICAC. He has failed to respond to any of my letters following his unsubstantiated statement. Please follow my previous updates to understand this more. Mr Ahmed Fahour who was the MD & Group CEO of Australia Post was contacted by me numerous times but he failed to resolve this matter for the entire almost seven years he was the MD & Group CEO of Australia Post. He resigned by providing some baseless reasons and then the Group Chief Customer Officer also resigned. She is Ms Christine Corbett. She also worked as acting MD & Group CEO till Ms Christine Holgate took office. I also contacted the current person that took over the position of Ms Corbett. She is Ms Nicole Sheffield-Executive General Manager Consumer and Community to resolve this matter but she has not responded at all to my many letters since she took office after Ms Corbett left her long-term job with Australia Post.

Dear Supporters, please also note that one more person has resigned and that is our former Prime Minister the Hon Malcolm Turnbull. Everyone from every place including the media is asking a question why Mr Turnbull had to go. No answers are forthcoming except the “Party decides the Leader”. This is not the answer people of this country will accept.

I contacted Mr Turnbull by way of my first letter dated 31 July 2011. This was received by his office on 3 August 2011. I wrote to Mr Turnbull after the failure of Labor government to help me to resolve this matter. Mr Turnbull at that time was the Shadow Minister for Communications and the Minister for Broadband Communications and Digital Economy was Senator the Hon Stephen Conroy. I sent a very comprehensive letter to Mr Turnbull to help me. The Delivery Confirmation-Advice Receipt of that Registered Post letter is attached to this update. After initial denials of receiving my letter, requesting me to send it again and then with great difficulty acceptance that it is received and was misplaced I waited for a response. No response was ever received.

After a long wait I requested Mr Turnbull to return my sensitive documents if he did not want to help. I provided one A4 size Registered Post envelope to Mr Turnbull to place all my documents in it and send it back to me. Mr Turnbull even kept that envelope and did not return my documents.

Then he became the Minister for Communications under the leadership of the Hon Tony Abbott MP as the Prime Minister. Mr Turnbull did not respond to my single letter during the entire period he was the Minister for Communications about my serious concerns about Australia Post and Mr Ahmed Fahour. Then he challenged Mr Abbott and became the Prime Minister. After that he did not respond to my single letter as the Prime Minister. Fortunately, whatever written here is documented. Now he has resigned and no one is ready to tell why he had to go.

The support that Australia Post allegedly received from the Ministers for Communications and the Department of Communications and continues to receive under Senator the Hon Mitch Fifield who is the current Minister for Communications is unacceptable. Senator Fifield, since taking over that portfolio from Mr Turnbull, has failed to respond to my letters as well. I contacted him many times but he does not respond.

Now the question is who is controlling Ms Holgate if that is the case. Why is she taking enormous risks of putting her own credibility on line and not ready to listen to me when it is her job to do so. Why is Nicole Sheffield not helping despite being EGM Consumer and Community? Who are they protecting?

I was ready to provide the copy of my letter to Mr Turnbull that he received on 3 August 2011 to Ms Holgate but she did not respond to this offer. The most important thing about my first letter to Mr Turnbull is it was with the copy of my letter to Mr Fahour dated 18 September 2010. This letter received by Mr Fahour is marked "NFA" and that part of the letter with NFA written is part of my previous update. This means Mr Turnbull and Mr Fahour knew about my detailed concerns about this unresolved matter for all these years.

Dear Supporters, please help me and my family to spread the word so that the people on the highest-level are made accountable for their actions and inaction and not considered as above the law.

The time has come to investigate these two resignations that were not at all warranted.

This unprecedented matter in the history of Australia Post and our country is worth making public and that will be possible with people power as we cannot allow our country to become a flawed democracy.
