Coach K was the founding coach of the Swanton soccer program.  Over the course of his 20 year career, he has built a program based on fundaments and effort, earning the esteem of his players, their parents and his fellow coaches and culminating in a District championship in his final year. 

Coach K has represented Swanton with pride and integrity.  In 2014, he was awarded The Ron Pinsenschaum Award by the Ohio High School Soccer Coaches Association.  This award is considered the highest honor an Ohio coach can receive and is given to the coach who exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship, integrity, the development of character and positive values on the field.   Coach K was also the recipient of the District Coach of the Year, Division III and The Albert Laux Award, given in recognition of coaches who reach their 20th year as a head coach of a single school.

Coach K has given much to the Swanton community and represented it well.  He has created a soccer program that will endure and thrive.  As he is retiring this year, we request that we honor his legacy by renaming the soccer field ‘Tom Krupitzer Field’.
