Mr. President: We demand free and fair elections in Nigeria next month, April 2011

The Issue

Nigerians have suffered so much in the hands of power hungry and self-seeking politicians who clinch political power through undemocratic means. Within 50 years of Independence, we have had several electoral bodies that could not conduct a single credible election for Nigerians.

Nigerians are tired of election rigging, snatching of ballot boxes, killings and maiming during elections. We are hungry for free and fair elections that would produce legitimate Federal and State Government administrations.

We support the “One Man, One Vote” policy as declared by President Goodluck Jonathan which has also been endorsed by Prof. Jega, the INEC Chairman. We would be very proud to have a Federal Government that would be fully recognized by the International Community and other nations of the world.

We want a Government that understands and provides for the needs of its people. A Government that respects and listens to her people. A Government that will secure and invest in the future of her people, especially the youths. A Government that will ensure the massive education of her people, no matter who they are and where they come from.

Most importantly, we want a Nigerian Government that will endear herself to the people, to the extent that Nigerians will begin to love Nigeria and be proud to be called Nigerians!

These are our dreams and we want you to make them come true this April!

Let our votes count!! Nigeria… Good people! Great Nation!!!
