Jani Silva is a farmer in Colombia and she earned money by working sincerely. But one day she faced the limit that is she can't earn money from her career, because her country's weather was always fluctuating so her crops can't adapt to that weather. This is the big reason why she get more interest in environment. 

She worked hard to preserve the Amazon River and forests in Brazil while also protecting the environment of her country, but there was another problem that Jani faced. She faced death threats for defending territory, the environment, and the way of life. The armed groups in the region want to control crops,  land, and communities. Colombia is the most dangerous place in America to be an environmental defender. Jani, who defends Colombia's rich ecosystem, and the people who live in it are attacked, persecuted, and killed every day. Jani faces threats from illegal groups, the military, drug traffickers, and multinational corporations. 

By this problem Jani Silva's right had been ignored. She was ignored her right to be protected as a person and her right to get money from her job. She deserves to get money so that she can live, and she should get protected to be safe. Those are essential for every single person. They have the right to be protected and get the money that they deserve. 

In this case, the leader and government was who do not respect the thoughts of the citizens and didn't do the right thing because they are afraid of someone. It is a significant rule for the leader to understand and respect the citizen's thoughts and things that they need. 

I want to see government to help improve the environment if it is not their country that can just preserve for all of us. and the way of life better. The government needs to participate to make a big change for citizens.
