A Maury County, Tennessee resident told Mayor Chaz Molder: “I’m embarrassed that Columbia supports animal cruelty. No I’m not embarrassed…. I’m furious!!!! Take the filthy picture down.”
A Lewis County, Tennessee resident told Mayor Molder: “The inherent cruelty inflicted upon horses to achieve the Big Lick has always made the horses the losers, and those that profit from their suffering at best complacent, at worst, criminal. I urge Columbia TN to reject all things Big Lick and honor the TennesseeWalking Horse for its natural beauty and smooth gait.”
