After a year full of uncertainty and disappointments, students in South Lakes Class of 2021 were eager to hear about the possibility of a graduation ceremony. With an array of mixed emotions, many of our peers dislike the fact that the graduation ceremony is occurring at 9 AM at a school up to an hour away. Many students want to take pictures with their family and friends prior to graduation and the venue and time does not easily allow for this. This is the last time many of us will see each other, and we would like to cherish this moment for many years to come. We understand that it may be difficult to change the venue due to public health guidelines, however, we would like for you to consider changing the time to the early afternoon.
