MovieStarPlanet (MSP) Needs 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)

MovieStarPlanet (MSP) Needs 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)
The Issue
Hello, my name is Olivia but you probably know me as Livv, livv04, livxviaaa, etc. Today I am here to use my voice and say that the game we've played since our youth, MovieStarPlanet or MSP, is highly unsafe and we all know it. Hundreds of players, if not thousands or even MILLIONS have been hacked, scammed, or just flat-out stolen from because of how unsafe this game is. We have fought for justice for years but have not received such demands. Every other game I have played such as Everskies, IMVU, and even ROBLOX, has a 2 Factor Authentication system enforced on their game/site to ensure the safety of the accounts that people rightfully own and spent both years and money on. Why does MSP not have one you ask? Well, I have no idea. It is completely unsafe, irresponsible, unprofessional, and even negligent to not have 2FA on their game. They claim receipts are "good enough" to prove ownership but it's not. What if you're a child and don't have money to spend on MSP? That would mean you have no receipts and you can't get an account back that was stolen from you. That should be enough for a LAWSUIT. The amount of players that have been mistreated and neglected on this game is not ok. Not even that, but some people just play the game without spending a dime. The game is still somewhat enjoyable without having to spend money. So basically you're forcing players to spend money in order to protect their accounts? What a money grab. Using receipts to "prove ownership" is unsafe and unethical. Anyone can buy whatever they want on any account and then use said receipt to steal the account. They literally have a question ON THEIR OWN GAME, MSP2, saying that accounts can be stolen with receipts. This clearly admits that they are aware of accounts being stolen via "receipt proof." Some individuals even fake receipts to claim ownership of accounts they desire. It makes me sad that a game I've played since I was 10 years old can't even protect its players and just lets them get hacked day in and day out. If MSP enforces 2FA, the game would be much safer. People would be able to get their accounts back without having to save every single receipt from the day the account was created to present-day times. Who even keeps that many receipts? Especially if you started the game when it first was created. No one is going to have receipts from 2009, or 2011 for the USA server which is where I play. 2FA has proven to be much safer than using an email or receipts to get an account back. All my accounts on other sites that have 2FA have NEVER been hacked. Why don't you follow those footsteps MSP? Your game's own DATABASE has been hacked many times by TEENAGERS in the last 3 years (that I know of at least) and these accounts wouldn't be stolen from the database if MSP had 2FA. Many have emailed, and many have made posts about 2FA tagging MSP's social pages but they don't listen. We need to SPEAK LOUDER to get what we want. This little petition might do nothing but we have to try.
