We , as Law Abiding Residents living in Erasmuskloof Ext 2, Erasmuskloof, Elardus Park, Wingate Park And surrounding areas - Demand that the Tshwane Municipality, SAPS, TMPD, Ward Councillors, MM’s. act on our behalf to remove the Illegal Informal Settlement occupants living at Wolvespruit 

Yes we are aware that the Municipality has been trying to remove them and have encountered numerous obstacles with the  Human Rights Organizations  and some Political Parties, but promises were made - and to date there is still no court date set, for the application to be heard.

This being said we have  to endure the following;-

1.  Wood fires being burnt which affects law abiding, tax paying residents whose health has been severely affected by this,  in the form of increased asthma attacks not only for the elderly but children as well, and an increase of bronchial problems for many.
2. Many of these affected residents now have to close their windows to prevent the smoke from entering their homes, which is unnatural and unhealthy. 
3. The noise over weekends and public holidays in the early hours of the morning of these illegal residents is horrific - the obvious partying and shouting - stirs most of us awake and unable to sleep , which again is unhealthy. 
4. Yes we are aware SAPS and TMPD do raid - but due to the noise factor there is definitely alcohol involved.
5. Although we were told that there has been a count of all the occupants and this was checked regularly - we feel that the numbers are increasing weekly as new structures were being added, also the amount of children observed playing in this area had increased.   
6. The amount of Crime in our areas has increased drastically and we feel that the illegal settlement is contributing to this, as many were unemployed. 
7. The Wetlands are supposed to be protected and the damage caused is irreversible and must  be stopped before it is too late. 
8. We ask, plead, demand that The Tshwane Municipality, Ward Councillors, MMC’s, SAPS, TMPD hear us and Remove the Illegal Informal Settlement Occupants -
