Whether it was late night gym sessions or wanting to take a meal break in between classes, sushi at Lyons was always there for me. Albeit overpriced and mid, the sushi and Lyons never failed to disappoint me, as there isn’t much to expect from BC Dining. Yet, for some reason the sushi that I would buy with my meal plan would always give me an unexplained boost of serotonin. From the high sodium soy sauce to the radioactive green wasabi, the Ratt sushi could always make my day. But Boston College Dining has taken that memorable experience from us. It was bad enough that the location of the sushi was moved to an inconvenient place (upper campus) but now we would have to spend our precious, very limited dining bucks on this sushi. It was bad enough that the bootleg Starbucks coffee was overpriced, but having to budget in still overpriced sushi in our coffee money is just too much. Class of 2026 Freshmen who only know about the overpriced and inconveniently located sushi will never be able to experience the special delectable which is Ratt sushi. Fellow Boston College sushi enjoyers, we can not stay silent and let Boston College steal from us anymore. We must show them that we have a voice and opinion, and we must stand together against this injustice. Sign this petition, share it with others, boycott CoRo sushi, and join me in this stand against the corporate greed of Boston College.
