FAA’s closed concentrated flightpaths over densely populated residential neighborhoods is creating nightmarish noise and air pollution, both in General aviation airports and major airline hub airports.

Some of the worst examples are Boulder County, CO (BJC, BDU, QQE, and LMO), Long Beach (LGB), Long Island, JFK, North Las Vegas Airport (VGT), Flagler Executive Airport (KFIN), Bend Oregon (Muni), Los Angeles (LAX and VNY), Burbank (BUR), Cotton Wood airport (CTW), Paleo Alto (PAO), and Seattle (SeaTac - SEA)), where abusive recreational pilots, flight schools and hobbyist pilots get to exploit their privileges by performing incessant “touch & goes” and “pattern work” on top of congested areas, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

These pilots are just perusing their hobby and making money by spewing repetitive loud jet noise (95 decibal-150 decibel), and neurotoxin lead over vulnerable communities hundreds of times per day. It seems general aviation (GA) has declared war against the American people, they are preying on the vulnerable and exposing quiet communities to continuous and excessive egregious aviation noise, dangerous maneuvers, and toxic jet fuel.

At VGT, BJC, LMO, LGB, BUR and other problematic GA airports, GA operations have soared, as have pollutant impacts, in some cases tripling in a few years. At North las Vegas airport, abusive recreational pilots (in particular Sky Combat Ace, Vegas Aviation, West Air Flight Training, Flyright Aviation, Chennault Flying Service, or BBL Ventures (Montana), Love Cloud, TACTICAL INTEGRATED TRAINING SOLUTIONS of Colorado) are taking advantage of lack of any regulations and profiteering from the impacts they impose upon communities below. Eventually the tax payers have to pay for all the consequences and repercussions regarding the health, well-being, and environmental affects as a result of this profiteering – passed on to the public.

These rogue aviation players are buying new loud acrobatic planes, registering them under different LLCs, expanding every day, drowning our neighborhoods in jet fuel and brutal jet noise.

“Long Beach LGB has had a 100% increase flight school training over our neighborhoods. Daily take-offs timed as close as 1-2-3 minutes apart for hours a day. The airport and the city elected do nothing. Pilots are threatening concerned residents who speak out with increased harassment flyovers. There is no escaping the danger nor the noise” says Glennis D of Long beach, CA.

According to One of the residents who’s lived in the shadow of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport for three decades, “the noise only became irritating — and then unbearable — in the last few years. I swear I could spit on them, they’re so low,” says Charlene W, the 72-year-old retired financial services.

Thirty miles away, Nathan W can’t find peace either. With an average of 360 daily takeoffs and landings at nearby Centennial Airport, the nation’s second-busiest general aviation airport, planes circle over his Greenwood Village home on an almost constant basis. “It’s not unusual to have nine or 10 planes in the same flight pattern for hours on end,” he said. “There are lots of times we would put our kids down for naps and they couldn’t sleep because of the planes.”

“We are located and directly affected by the RMMA daily. The flight schools are my main concern. They have open game on our communities every day. We endure their noise and lead pollution 19-23 hrs in a day. We need a curfew in place to control our air space. Please consider my thoughts” says Teri M.

 “Total BS! We are in that direct path 215/ Ann rd (Vegas). I have personally sent multiple complaints to the FAA, they sent me the flight paths of over 400 flights per day! This flight path changed a year ago, it wasn’t directly over houses before, they claim they can’t fly further North because of military jets, BS!! F16’s fly thousands of feet higher. Something has to make this stop!” says Timothy K.

FAA is falsely claiming that flightpaths haven’t changed and planes are quieter than they were a few decades ago. 

These claims are contrary to the fact that FAA’s nextgen is creating numerous noise complaints at both GA and major airline hub airports. More than 20 million Americans have found themselves victims of FAA’s Nextgen and non-stop aerial assault imposed on them, often by arrogant and abusive general aviation pilots.

In most general aviation airports, the FAA has unanimously made a decision to put practicing pilots, and intense and dangerous rogue recreational pilots (for instance Sky Combat Ace at VGT) in oppressive repetitive “touch-and-go” routes over neighborhoods, even those far from the airport, most of these pilots are tormenting residents in loud piston-engine planes or loud single props - extra E300 – 315 horse power (90-150 decibels). They are hammering and pounding the same streets and neighborhoods repeatedly.  

Despite the increased flyovers over congested areas, FAA claims that the flightpaths have not changed or these areas always had significant amount of aviation noise. FAA continues to gaslight and ignore aviation impacted communities and doesn’t want to take any responsibility for empowering and unleashing monstrous and rogue aviation on top of our homes. 

The truth is that the FAA has changed flightpaths at VGT after fatal crashes and an actual mid-air collision in 2022 at North Las Vegas Airport. In an attempt to disperse flights, the FAA changed flightpaths about a year ago over densely populated residential neighborhoods, in particular those west of the airport. The airspace out of VGT is already condensed and features many flight schools and touring businesses. We have hobbyist pilots and pilots from other problematic airports constantly looping and circling on top of our neighborhood.  

Henderson powerful politician and lobbyists managed to dump Sky Combat Ace on top of our homes too, making the already condensed airspace out of VGT even more crowded.  Sky combat Ace intensive operation in Henderson only impacted a few hundred homes (KHND is almost outside the city limit), at VGT, they are aviation bullying tens of thousands of homes in quiet neighborhood, far from the airport. 

Abusive GA airports, including NLV airport (VGT) have become a safe haven for recreational pilots with history of fatal crashes, mental health issues, and drug abuse and safety concerns (BANNED or dismissed in other cities).  Rogue aviation is drastically expanding and increasing the intensity and number of loud stunt planes to assault residents in an already busy/condensed airspace. 

Because of FAA’s delays and inaction, abusive recreational cowboys have become even more emboldened to aviation bully our homes, threatening residents with more flyovers, and intensifying their already intense operations on top of our homes. General aviation thinks it is their constitutional right to decimate and target concerned residents and expose them to repetitive brutal noise (150 decibels), and toxic fumes.

For instance, Rogue Sky Combat Ace has been increasing its intense operations to 7 days a week now, where 6 to 10 of their obnoxiously loud E300s and other acrobatic planes perform repetitive incessant “touch & goes” and pattern work, right on top of congested areas. Sky combat Ace and a dozen flight schools are targeting residents with more flybys and dangerous maneuvers (sharp turns, hovering and circling repeatedly), after all the noise and safety complaints filed against them. Some days they are literally sitting on top of our homes, refusing to leave and targeting residents who dare to complain with more flybys, low altitude dives, aggressive maneuvers, foul noise and fuel pollution.

Sky combat Ace and other rogue aviation players are buying and adding new loud acrobatic planes on top of our homes, where 6 to 10 of their loud E300s and other aerobatic planes violently assault homes of residents in Sun City Summerlin and NW, for hours and hours to no end. 

As more and more cities (like Henderson, NV, Oceanside, CA and Santa Monica) are banning these rogue aviation activities on top of congested areas, the densely populated residential areas west of VGT will become even more popular for recreational thugs who love playing sports and have open war games on top of our homes. We’ve already gone from 260 low flying planes a day in spring time to almost 500 low flying planes a day in winter. It is getting worse every single day.

How much further FAA is going to push residents west of VGT and shove more stunt planes and war games down our throats? When enough is enough and it is time to cut back on rogue aviation unleashed on top of congested areas? So many of these planes are hiding themselves from flight trackers while flying VFR. 20% of this heavy traffic is ghosted on flight trackers. 

FAA has become a WILY FOE armed with unlimited power, they can send screaming jets on top of your homes 24/7. The FAA is not enforcing previous quilt zone and safety regulations. We have rogue aviation sky raging (aviation variant of road rage) on top of our homes at low altitude, the rogue recreational cowboys and arrogant and conceited maverick wannabee have become more emboldened by FAA’s silence, lack of any regulations, absence of any noise ordinances or safety regulations or legal enforcement.

We have loud commercial planes screaming and assaulting quiet communities (10 to 15 miles away from Harry Reid) late at nights or early morning hours and abusive general aviation at VGT assaulting us the rest of the day. Most days, we barley have a 10 min window without any kind of jet noise.

Sky Combat Ace has a grim history of fatal crashes, safety concerns, illegal substance abuse and assault.  That is why this business is banned in other cities, this business has been operating in a regulatory vacuum and continues to push the envelope and regularly place ordinary people with no flight experience in very dangerous air-combat situations, now on top of tens of thousands of homes in quiet communities. This business has been provoking other rogue aviation players and abusers against concerned residents and communities underneath their flightpath.

While the residents underneath their flight path might think their E300s are safe, Sky Combat Ace is actually playing with numbers and statistics suggesting that the risk of fatal injuries involving their planes are just one in 10,000 flights. "Whether it’s aerial combat simulation, skydiving, or stunt flying, things go wrong and people will GET HURT AND DIE. It is grossly irresponsible of these businesses to continue to subject folks to such a high risk of harm, and the authorities need to step in and reconsider the wisdom, and legality, of these outfitters.” says the aviation injury attorney, lamented Bohrer.

Sky Combat Ace is a pathological liar and an abuser. Keep in mind that Sky Combat Ace had prior fatal crashes of the same model plane in Nevada and California, after the same plane was previously cited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for violating federal law with illegal and dangerous maneuvers. 

Sky Combat Ace and similar sounding businesses should be sued and prosecuted for public nuisance, public endangerment, and manslaughter (previous fatal crashes due to systematic abusive flying behavior, ignoring weather alerts, and reckless flying behavior and intentional endangerment of the residents):  

Under FAA’s benevolence, aggressive and belligerent foul-mouthed hobbyist pilots bully and intimidate residents who call them to complain, often threatening concerned residents with more aggressive flybys, dives and low altitude maneuvers.  

The aggressive abusive flying behavior of Sky Combat Ace and other recreational pilots are persistent enough and noisy enough to make the lives of those on the ground a misery and they should be sued and/or prosecuted for public nuisance and endangerment of our lives and threatening residents’ mental and physical health.

These rogue businesses have become so cocky and emboldened by lack of enforcement from the City and FAA that 10 of their loud jets are making dangerous maneuvers and sharp turns and loops, unsafe on top of congested areas.

The harassment includes aviation variant of road-rage: the use of multiple loud stunt planes, acrobatic planes or small planes to descend and circle low over homes of known concerned citizens (sometimes tuning off their ADS-B from transmitting), to intimidate the residents … and FAA is doing nothing to curtail this bullying. It is as if there are no real regulation by FAA; no accountability for the players who gain profits, bully and intimidate residents or just pursue their hobby, while spewing pollutants (often including lead toxins) and horrible noise in the air above our homes.

Las Vegas FSDO and FAA regional Noise Ombudsman are protecting and covering up for recreational cowboys, most likely 

The local FSDO is doing NOTHING to curb this abuse and damage, often covering up for rogue recreational cowboys who have been blatantly flying way below a 1000 ft. FSDO has told residents that there is nothing they could do about Sky Combat Ace abusive flying behavior and other rogue aviation activities as long as these pilots are about a 1000 ft above our homes (only 300 meters). But When residents provide fact (screenshots from flight trackers), illustrating that these abusers have repeatedly been flying below 1000 ft, FSDO claims that these pilots can fly lower in airspace B (even as low as 200 ft to 400 ft above congested areas). FSDO suggests that pilots are either ascending or descending (related to takeoff or landing), on top of homes 7 to 10 miles away from the airport.

FSDO and regional Noise Ombudsman are no help to concerned residents, often ignoring residents and covering up for egregious noise, aviation abuse and safety violations at NLV airport. When raising concerns about abusive pilots who turn off their transponder when flying VFR and the safety issues associated to this abusive behavior (in an already condensed airspace), FSDO claims that FAA’s ATC does not have any record of these incidents or abusive recreational pilots can legally turn off transponders under ADS-B privacy act.

Aviation impacted communities are having a George Floyd moment “We can’t breathe, take your knee off of our necks” 

It’s no secret that General aviation is hugely subsidized by public and is expensive and is not enjoyed by most of the population and has huge land and environmental footprint, including foul noise and fuel pollution. 

The truth is that FAA doesn't have any real regulation nor any accountability to the residents by allowing rogue aviation players to serve their bottom line at the expense of the residents. FAA’s leading priority is to keep unrestricted airspace above our homes open for rogue businesses that make money off of public subsidizing this abuse and harassment while torturing and tormenting residents and endangering our lives and health.

The avaricious aviation industry has bent the regulator and complicit government conspire to gaslight the public and greenwash aviation abuse and assault. American people are being asked to bear egregious repetitive noise, horrible air quality, and air pollution, suffer negative health consequences and bear contribution to climate change while rogue aviation keeps making money off of our pain and suffering.

Billions of dollars a year are spent to subsidize General Aviation (GA) airports and abusive GA pilots. The whole business model is fundamentally exploitative, relying on public subsidies, free airspace, golf courses, lakes, and public parks. Flight and touring businesses get a beautiful, uncontrolled, FREE playground, while residents pay property taxes, bear constant noise and fuel pollution and have to suffer LOSS OF HOME EQUITY.

Abusive recreational pilots are disrespecting and tagging residents as ‘Karens’ or ‘NIMBYs’ (which they are NOT), while pilots and operators are treated like heroes and economic saviors (which they are NOT).

Propeller planes dump 467 tons of toxic lead into our breathable air every year. General aviation airports rival Flint, Michigan in terms of unsafe and dangerous levels of lead in blood or urine of residents in nearby airports:

According to a recent study, children living near Reid-Hillview airport have blood lead levels nearing those in Flint. But unlike Flint, where lead levels surged over 18 months, the exposure to airborne lead for children living near airports persists, year after year, during the most vulnerable period of their lives. While the levels found around Reid-Hillview are below the 3.5-microgram threshold signaling “elevated” levels, according to guidelines from the US CDC, they can nevertheless leave a lasting impact on children’s brains.

FAA has been a masterclass in aviation greenwashing; most of these planes are decades old and emit toxic pollutants like carbon, PM2.5, and lead over vulnerable communities over and over. According to a latest research, the more air pollution you breathe, the more likely you develop cancer. For every 10 µg/m³ of increased exposure to PM2.5, risk of dying from any cancer rises by 22%.

Lead accumulates and is taken up by plants and animals. No amount of lead is safe for children. Even at the lowest recordable levels, researchers have found evidence of long-term mental harm, ranging from lower IQs to higher rates of ADHD and aggression, with social spillovers that depress lifetime incomes and graduation rates.

The FAA claims that those who experience aircraft and stunt planes repetitive noise (120 decibel) as annoyance are "noise sensitive people" but where are their studies to back up such claims?

This aviation greenwashing by FAA is so ludicrous given there is an avalanche of scientific and medical evidence proving aircraft noise damages humans as the FAA's very own study provides solid evidence of a statistically significant association between exposure to aircraft noise and cardiovascular health.

According to numerous peered review journals, repetitive and loud airplanes noise increases the risk of negative health consequences. Noise Pollution harms more than your hearing. From your heart to your brain, chronic exposure to loud noises can significantly damage health. Unpleasant sounds, register with the amygdala — the brain’s stress detection center — which in turn pushes the endocrine system into overdrive, flooding the body with cortisol and adrenaline. A quickened heart rate and high blood pressure often result.

Over time, these changes can lead to inflammation, hypertension and plaque buildup in arteries, increasing the risk of heart disease, heart attacks and stroke. According to 2600 peered reviewed journals. Aircraft Noise is associated with cardiovascular disease, hearing loss, hypertension, and sleep disorders. In addition, noise is often the result of inefficiencies, representing a form of loss of energy in the overall system.

Countless number of scientific research have linked loud repetitive noise and neurotoxin lead to violent crime, dementia, heart disease, cancer, & other health issues, to keep the “healthcare” & for-profit jail system going. Noise and fuel pollution from rogue aviation has plagued our communities. We have a system of governance that does not respect the sovereignty of towns and neighborhoods. Loud aerobatic planes and loud single piston engines that should be moved to a remote area (outside the City limit) have popped up all over residential areas. The truth is that Las Vegas has plenty of land for flyboy cowboys to joyride recreationally, a playground for them that is not near homes or cities. 

If FAA wanted to serve all of us (not just aviation and its bottom line), they would make sure that all citizens have full access to the resources needed for effective engagement. The airport clown show a testimony how FAA is so beholden to rogue aviation and its bottom line that it will do NOTHING to curb aviation damage and abuse. 

The FAA has been empowering a tiny aviation community (0.1%), at the expense of disempowering the majority (99.9%) who get to bear foul noise, toxic fumes, mental and health issues, and unsafe and dangerous aviation activities.

We have stunt planes, small planes and low flying helicopters crashing into our neighborhoods in America under the governance of a Federal agency that has failed to address our legitimate noise, air pollution and safety concerns:

MAJOR SAFETY CONCERNS AT NORTH LAS VEGAS AIRPORT AFTER THE SECOND DEADLY COLLISIONS: 

“KVGT is a very unforgiving airport. Flying is unforgiving to begin with. You can’t just have a fender bender and pull over and knock the dents out as was demonstrated in the recent crash. More than 70 people have died in Colorado aircraft crashes since 2014. Things can go wrong very quickly and sometimes beyond the control of the pilots. The airport was there first, therefore abusive recreational pilots (less than 1% of the population) get to indulge their immediate whims at the expense of the majority (99.9%). 

One can argue that after the homeowners bought their homes, the FAA created a public hazard by changing traffic patterns over homes west of the airport. Back when the homeowners bought their homes they must have felt that the noise levels were acceptable (most communities 5 to 10 miles from VGT had almost no jet noise prior to December 2022), plus sky combat ace stunt plane pose a danger to public safety and health, which did not exist until a year ago. At least not until Henderson powerful lobbyists and FAA dumped this rogue business on top of Sun City and NW homes.  

  • Does an airport have an unlimited right to create new public nuisances and threaten safety and well-being of residents who live 5 to 10 miles away from the airport? These stunt planes and their war games are making our homes sound like runways. Let's say you bought a house next to a neighbor who played music with his windows open. Does the neighbor have the right to turn up the volume after you move in? Does he have the right to install speakers on his deck? At what point does the neighbor become a public nuisance and a threat, and when can you sue him to turn down the volume? 

FAA has become an absentee landlord, they tax us, but do not represent us. FAA’s new flightpaths and stunt planes and their war games over densely populated residential neighborhoods is based on Bad metric. Total failure. Replace it. Yesterday. Please?

It does appear the FAA is at war with the American people, muffling any opposition and ignoring victims of Nextgen and aviation abuse through increasing rogue aviation activities on top of our homes, intentional lead Poisoning, sleep depriving & relentless auditory torture and abuse. 

The FAA should revert back to the old traffic patterns, and limit rogue and intense operations on top of congested areas. The FAA should move flight schools and acrobatic planes and Sky Combat Ace rogue operations to an airport outside the city limit like jean Airport. The FAA should be able to represent the interest of the area as a whole, and not just the airport or associated businesses.

FAA needs to stop the delays and show us some aggressive policy proposals that restore the balance lost between the tiny aviation community and the large majority impacted by these elites. The 0.1% versus the 99.9%.

This will reduce the risks of future crashes or midair collision and would eliminate this newly created threat to public health and safety. It will curb aviation harassment and abuse and create a healthy balance of power in between aviation and non-aviation community.

When will FAA bureaucrats, Congress and City officials start recognizing the American people, their pain and suffering and when will they start to implant aggressive policies and crack down on dangerous and rogue aviation activities right on top of congested areas?
