Most communities (5 to 10 miles from VGT) had almost no jet noise prior to December 2022. The truth is that the FAA has changed flightpaths at VGT and many other general aviation airports, after fatal crashes and an actual mid-air collision in 2022 at North Las Vegas Airport. In an attempt to expand flightpaths and disperse flights, the FAA changed flightpaths about a year ago over densely populated residential neighborhoods, in particular those west of the airport. The airspace out of VGT is already condensed and features many flight schools and touring businesses. Henderson powerful politicians and lobbyists managed to dump Sky Combat Ace on top of our homes too, making the already condensed airspace out of VGT even more crowded. Sky combat Ace intensive operation in Henderson only impacted a few hundred homes (KHND is almost outside the city limit), at VGT, they are aviation bullying tens of thousands of homes in quiet neighborhood, far from the airport.

This is contrary to the fact that flying under general aviation (GA) is not safer than driving. Statistically, GA’s safety record is closer to the safety record of operating motorcycles. For instance, Sky Combat Ace has been exploiting the FAA's loopholes to be able to operate in a regulatory vacuum, with little or no oversight. Sky Combat Ace and touring businesses are operating under "passenger-carrying operations", which fall under less restrictive regulations than airlines do for things such as pilot training and maintenance. This has allowed Sky Combat Ace to EXPLOIT LOOPHOLES in FAA regulations to AVOID STRICTER OVERSIGHT. Keep in mind that the victims of general aviation accidents are sometimes not fully compensated, many of these GA businesses do not require to have liability issuance like airlines do.
FAA/FSDO is not even enforcing a 1000 ft min altitude, often covering up for rogue aviation and abusive GA businesses who are regularly turning off their transponders from public in an already congested airspace, in an attempt to aviation bully and assault our homes (late at nights or as early as 5 am in the mornings).
The local FSDO is doing NOTHING to curb this abuse and damage, often covering up for rogue recreational cowboys who have been blatantly flying way below a 1000 ft. FSDO has told residents that there is nothing they could do about Sky Combat Ace abusive flying behavior and other rogue aviation activities as long as these pilots are about a 1000 ft above our homes (only 300 meters). But when residents provide fact (screenshots from flight trackers), illustrating that these abusers have repeatedly been flying below 1000 ft, FSDO claims that these pilots can fly lower in airspace B or claims that third party apps cannot be trusted in terms of the low altitude of these abusive joyriders above congested areas, (although the apps are solid and accurate in terms of the altitude and clearly illustrate that these abusers are regularly flying below a 1000 ft, sometimes turning off their transponders form public).

Sims has been yelling at residents, calling them "nasty people", bullying them, treating them like peasants, suggesting that residents should have consulted with him first before buying their homes, and ordering them to move out of their homes if they don't like the heavy assault, retaliation and relentless auditory torture. Mr. George Sims of Clark County department of aviation continues to gaslight and bully Las Vegas residents and should represent the FAA regional Noise Ombudsman. Residents get to endure decades of stress and auditory torture while their properties become increasingly less inhabitable. The airport-related pollutants and the traffic congestion destroy previously idyllic places. Homes become run-down rentals. Commercial blight sets in, including seedy lodging, and expansive rental car and parking lots. Businesses catering to air travelers emerge, often with larger crime problems: nude bars, pawn shops, liquor stores and pot shops, and lots of empty shops abandoned due to the blight. Property values drop, making it that much easier for federal funds to buy even more airport lands.

This money could have been better spent on hiring responsible airport authorities who could take control of the lawlessness, chaos and mayhem at VGT, serious safety and noise issues and could offer solid solutions for REAL noise mitigation and measurements such as:
- Creating a residential sound insulation program
- Purchasing aviation easements
- Programing management measures
- Monitoring implementation of NCP measures: This means the airport will make sure the noise-reduction measures are monitored thoroughly.
- Designing and implementing an enhanced "Fly Quiet" program, and prosecuting those who are flagrantly and repeatedly violating guidelines, voluntary or no.
- Monitor flight tracks and activity trends: The airport should be monitoring what times have the most traffic and officials want to find ways to spread out the flights rather than having them all within the same time frame.
- Monitor and determine need for NEM (noise exposure maps) and/or NCP update.
- Continue community education and outreach.
- Designate community liaisons or ombudsmen who can serve as points of contact for affected communities. These liaisons can facilitate communication between the FAA and community members, helping to address concerns and clarify information. These ombudsmen must have The authority to effect change that will benefit noise-impacted communities and not be a receptacle for noise complaints.

The FAA is going after its own whistleblowers (FAA’s inspectors who are just doing their jobs), by intimidating and coercing them into silence. Concerned residents who want to control the quality of their home environment, they get run-arounds, everywhere. They are broadly ignored by Airport authorities, FAA bureaucrat or FSDO officials working in close connections to flight schools and touring businesses they oversee. Or worse, they are disrespected or tagged as “Karens”, “NIMBYS”, “nasty people”, their right to privacy is eliminated, and they are being coerced and retaliated against by abusive GA pilots.

We need to set up a GoFundme page and represent all aviation impacted communities across America and bring a lawsuit against local, county, state and federal government, the FAA, and greedy aviation businesses for their deliberate intent to cause harm, lawlessness, chaos and mayhem.
This is an overreach of a Federal agency going out of its way serving greedy airlines and aviation industry, at the expense of safety, health and lives of the American people. We need to get more residents involved.

The cowboy flyboys are cruising in and applying full power low across our private property while spewing lead, unbelievable amount of unregulated, straight-piped noise from their weaponised assault weapon. It's starting to sound like living in a war zone or a police state. It is very bizarre how many times these hobbyist pilots are targeting residents, even those living far from the airport. “It’s a warm, sunny, December day - in fact Sunday (we work hard the whole week to have some peace and quiet inside our homes), so what does that mean? Residents being bombarded by low-flying, loud as hell tourist stunt planes, small planes, low flying helicopters. Bombarded is right- it feels like we are living in a war zone - why are these attacks even legal? Our physical and mental health is being jeopardized on a daily basis. Clark County grifters who are gaining huge profit from this need to resign in disgrace and dip a bit of the ill-gotten gains back to the victims of greedy, polluting Airports. Please contact the FAA, congress and city officials and let them know you’ve had enough. Tell them to stop dumping this filth on top of our homes and kick Sky combat ace and other rogue aviation businesses out of NLV airport. Tell them the American people DESERVE better.
