Great work, everyone!

Thanks in large part to Robert Garza, we’ve moved past the 1,000-signature mark and are now approaching 1,400.

If you haven’t already, please take a moment to visit Robert’s pinned post, like it, share it, and leave a comment to help boost its reach. You may also consider following him and supporting the work he is doing in other states.

CHALLENGE

I am asking each of you to help bring in just one additional signer by this time next week.

With nearly 1,500 current signers, that would take us past 2,000 — and put us on a path toward 3,000.

We have reached a point where if everyone contributes a small amount, we can achieve significant growth.

By signing the petition, you have already given a voice to this effort — and to the many children in Pennsylvania’s separated families. Each additional signature strengthens that voice and helps ensure it is heard more clearly.

This is how we continue to build — with everyone contributing. I will continue using this platform to communicate with the House Judiciary Committee each week, and if we are successful in getting HB1499 brought to a vote and out of committee, we will stay engaged through every step of the process until the bill reaches the Governor’s desk.

In next week’s update, I will share more about how the legislative process works and some of the specific dynamics surrounding HB1499.
